Suomi Teline now serves customers closer to the capital region
As its construction sites and customer base are concentrated in the capital region, Suomi Teline decided to follow suit and move to Vantaa, close to Ring Road III. “The new location means convenience and better service for customers, as we are closer to the construction sites,” says CEO Peter Korhonen.
Peter Korhonen, CEO of Suomi Teline, a company specializing in the sale, rental, and contracting of scaffolding, says he has been thinking for a long time about how to better serve customers during challenging times that the industry faces. Together with the team, an idea was born: the company must operate and serve customers closer to them and their needs.
Therefore, Suomi Teline is relocating, and its materials warehouse and company administration will move to Vantaa. Located along Lahti Highway near Ring III, construction sites in the capital region are closer than ever and we are easily accessible.
“Over the years, the focus of our contracting and other activities has shifted to the capital region. Ring III is a logistically important route, as our customers know. We decided to move our operations next to it to make everything easier and faster for our customers,” says Peter.

Suomi Teline’s material warehouse is located at Pavintie 12. Truck traffic to the warehouse goes via Pavintie, which leads directly to the yard. The company’s administration is located in the Aikakeskus building, which is right next to the warehouse, at Koulutie 11. Customers picking up materials should note that they do not need to drive to two separate locations.
“All paperwork and other matters related to picking up and returning materials are handled at the Pavintie warehouse. Only the administration will move to nearby Koulutie, where tasks such as contract negotiations and other similar matters will be handled.
The materials warehouse is open on weekdays from 7 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. and, by agreement, until 11 p.m. with a maximum response time of 30 minutes, often even faster.
“Evening pickup can be organized in less than half an hour. Of course, we make this promise with a slight reservation, meaning that in rare cases, we may not be able to get there. But for the most part, we are always happy to load or unload goods in the evenings as well, when the customer needs us to.
The sales warehouse for ALFIX products is also open on weekdays from 7 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., and by appointment in the evenings and on weekends. The response time for this service is also a maximum of 30 minutes.
In addition to Suomi Teline focusing more closely on operating in the Helsinki metropolitan area, another new development is Peter’s changed role. The CEO is increasingly getting out into the field – visiting customers, construction sites, and material warehouses.
“We respond to our customers’ wishes in every way possible. Our excellent logistical location speeds up and streamlines our service, and we hope that everything is now easier for our customers. This is the kind of added value we are known for,” says Peter.
