Suomi Teline turns eight and continues its journey to the top
Suomi Teline has been delivering high-quality and full-service scaffolding solutions to its customers for eight years. The company will continue to provide excellent service in the future.
Suomi Teline celebrated its eighth birthday on 17 January 2025. The company specialises in scaffolding sales, rental and contracting, and has for years offered its customers full-service scaffolding solutions that work in all conditions, from harsh Finnish winters to the heat of South America.
Entrepreneur and CEO Peter Korhonen discusses Suomi Teline’s current situation and future over coffee and cake.
“We believe in our operating model. We have been operating on the South American market for a while now, and we will continue to do so.”
Hard work pays off in difficult times
The global situation has been difficult for construction industry companies in recent years, and this is widely reflected in industry actors. Times have also been tough for Suomi Teline, but hard work has helped the company through challenges. Korhonen predicts that the situation will remain similar in 2025. The company is kicking off the new year with a determined attitude and ironclad expertise.
“There are no quick tricks to success, but you can get through anything with perseverance and hard work. And when you overcome challenging periods, something better is always around the corner – everything comes down to timing. It motivates you to push through difficult times,” says Korhonen.
Focusing on high-quality products and service
Throughout the years, Suomi Teline’s operations have focused on importing ALFIX-scaffolding, sales storage, and products, and it will continue to do so in the future. ALFIX scaffolding products are known for their high quality and durability, and they can be used in all conditions.
The Suomi Teline operating model also emphasises caring for customers and partner networks. In fact, Korhonen considers long-term and well-managed relationships with customers and suppliers to be a key factor in dealing with challenging periods.
“We take care of our customers, staff, subcontractor networks, existing projects, and commissions,” Korhonen promises.
Drawing on international operations as a resource
Korhonen considers growth in international operations, particularly on the South American market where Suomi Teline has operated for four years, to be an important company strategy. Operations will go from strength to strength via the ALFIX Andiamos subsidiary, and will focus increasingly on the sale and rental of scaffolding equipment.
Although more and more scaffolding supplied by Suomi Teline is erected on international construction sites, the company’s feet are still firmly on Finnish soil.
Success is built on collaboration
Success isn’t built alone. It comes from customer relationships, committed staff, skilled subcontractors and other partners – and their shared goals. Suomi Teline’s eight-year-long journey has involved numerous customers and partners, for whom Korhonen has this short and concise message:
“Our warmest thanks go to everyone involved in our collaboration. We hope it will continue in the coming years!”
